In this unit you will research two artists, learn about their type of art, create a page with images of their art, and then write an essay giving information on each artist and explaining which one you like more.
Click on the pink lesson buttons to go to that particular page.
In Lesson One you will research Marcel Duchamp on the internet, creating a power point on the artist and his  work.  Below are some sites you can use but you can find others as well.

In Lesson Two you will research another artist from the list below, adding information on this second artist to your power point.  (Each student must choose a different artist)

In Lesson Three you will  find images by the artists you chose and populate your page with images, your power point, and information about your artists, as well as any videos and web links.

In Lesson Four you will be writing your own essay comparing and contrasting the two artists you chose and explaining which artists you prefer and why.  This will be a 3 to 5-paragraph essay, word-processed, edited, and pasted onto your page.
